Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning systems are not only critical to engine performance and efficiency, but also incredibly important for driver comfort.

Cabins can get very warm during the long-driving shift that your employee is on the road and keeping him or her at an ambient temperature and safe is a paramount consideration for you as a manager and employer. Engine Cooling systems are also vital to keeping your vehicle on the road without overheating, cut-out or other serious mechanical and electrical problems. We have huge amounts of experience in supplying engine cooling and air conditioning components to commercial fleets large and small and can help your fleet as well.

What Engine Cooling & Air Conditioning parts can you supply?

Working with manufacturers such as Sanden, Hella, Denso as well as several other climate specialists, we can supply you with a large range of components including:

  • AC Compressors

  • Blowers

  • Condensers

  • Expansion Tanks

  • Fans & Fan Clutches

  • Oil Coolers

  • Radiators

  • Receiver Dryers

  • Thermostats

Plus much more.

When should you replace Engine Cooling & A/C Control Systems?

Air Conditioning system defects are easy to identify and isolate due to the user-facing function that they hold. The vehicle operator will be able to advise as soon as the cabin climate management system is not operating as it should. Engine Cooling systems are only slightly more difficult to identify while the vehicle is in motion and under-load.

Some of the common indicators that might  suggest engine cooling defect include:

  • Rising temperature gauge on the dashboard

  • Smoke coming from the engine chassis

  • Faster than normal consumption of coolant fluid

  • White smoke coming from the combustion chamber

  • Green (sweet smelling) fluid visible on the floor underneath the truck after a period vehicle of inactivity
