Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is a method to control Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) emission which is produced as a by-product during the combustion process. An EGR module consists of an EGR valve, exhaust gas intercooler and optionally a bypass flap (the bypass flap makes it possible to use an optional intercooler). The combination of these components in a single unit is advantageous since it results in a low installation space requirement.
During a cold start, the intercooler is cut off because of quick engine and catalytic converter heating to working temperature.
We supply a broad range of EGR Modules to cover both European light passenger and light commercial vehicles (LCV’s).
